Our Community

We believe the best way we can grow together is through deep, discipling relationships. Therefore, we regularly encourage our members to connect with each other by living out the relational model of the New Testament church. Come grow with us in the following ways!

Attend Sunday Gatherings:

We gather as a local church weekly to sing the word, hear the word, pray the word, preach the word, and see the word (through the ordinances). In doing so, we encourage and stir one another up to grow in love for God and each other. Come prepared to hear from God’s word, and stay afterward to talk and grow in your relationship with others! PraY REGULARLY:

A key piece of our community is that we pray for each other regularly. Some use our Membership Directory, some pray based on their daily Bible reading, others email and text at random. Additionally, we gather together on the 2nd Sunday of every month to pray for specific requests within our church and around the world.

MAKE DISCIPLES:

Our church seeks to be marked by a culture of discipling where it’s normal for members to help one another follow Jesus. We think this is a normal part of the Christian life. To learn more about our discipleship, click here.

EXERCISE Hospitality:

Hospitality is more than inviting others into your home. It’s intentionally enfolding others into your life and walking alongside each other. At NCBC, we aim to be deliberate in inviting people from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and life stages into each others’ lives.

Volunteer/Serve:

There are countless ways to volunteer and serve with NCBC. Serving allows us to love and edify others by using our gifts and sacrificing our time. If you’re a newcomer, the best way to serve initially is to simply attend the church and pursue membership at NCBC. You can find out more about membership here.

EvangeliZE:

We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ—the redemptive story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection—has the power to transform our lives, our city, and our world. At NCBC, therefore, we seek to share the gospel with your neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family. Let us pray for your evangelistic efforts by signing up here
