Biblical Theology examines the story of God’s redemptive plan and how it unfolds throughout history. This 13-week course takes a closer look at the development of various biblical themes and how they each flow up to the pinnacle of the story in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Counseling is the act of giving counsel to someone. Biblical counseling is the act of speaking into someone’s life using God’s wisdom. By equipping church members to counsel one another using God’s wisdom, the congregation is able to do front-line ministry work. This 5-week course seeks to introduce our church to doing just that.

Discipling is how Christians help one another follow Jesus. But sometimes it can be challenging or intimidating trying to figure out the who, what, where, when, why, and how of discipling. This 13-week course is for all Christians seeking to grow, and is designed to address each of these areas biblically and practically.

Cultural trends are shifting gender roles now more than anytime in history and Christians are faced with challenges in all aspects of life. This seminar will help biblically define God’s beautiful design for each gender.

On this side of eternity, all people experience suffering one way or another. But what is the purpose of suffering, and how are we supposed to live in light of suffering? In this seminar we will aim to establish a framework on suffering and how the Lord sovereignly uses it for our good and His glory.

Singleness is often a deep source of discouragement for many Christians. A sincere desire for marriage can often make the season appear intolerable and cause wonder about what God is doing. Additionally, many well-intended brothers and sisters fail to acknowledge the power and purpose God’s Word clearly connects to singleness. The goal of this Seminar will be to dive into The Scriptures and consider what truths should ground the single Christian deeper into Christ, and equip the saints around them to properly love them as genuine members of the Household of God.

Politics have always been a challenging and divisive issue to navigate within our complicated and broken world. This truth is no different for Christians navigating various opinions inside and outside of the church. There is truly nothing new under the sun (Eccl. 1:9), yet God’s Word lightens the path forward as believers seek to walk together in Christ. This seminar aims to highlight God’s Word concerning government and politics, the Christian’s relationship to government and politics, and the church's posture toward one another in navigating diverse opinions concerning government and politics.

The Bible exhorts the believer to “train yourself for godliness” (1 Tim. 4:7). In other words, in order to grow in godliness a Christian must intentionally train and discipline themselves. This is where biblical Spiritual Disciplines come in! God has appointed  the Spiritual Disciplines as an exercise regimen that helps a Christian grow in Christ-likeness. The goal of this  five-week Seminar is to encourage believers to persevere in these spiritual habits so that every person may be presented “mature in Christ” (Col. 1:28). 

God’s word is full of truth and is altogether beneficial for a Christian’s life and witness to the world. Yet, there are things in God’s word that are of “first importance” and are indispensable in explaining the heart of the Christian faith (1 Corinthians 15:3). The goal of this seminar is to help believers and non-believers alike in their understanding of the most fundamental aspects of the Christian faith.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” says the apostle Paul (Col. 3:23). Believers often recognize that God is their final authority and the one they actually work for. Despite this, God has placed his people under the authority of other people in order to make a living in this life. These truths often lead to many challenging questions: Why is work so hard? How do I work for bad bosses? How do I share Christ at work? How should I think about finding work? The goal of this Sunday Seminar is to help believers answer these questions biblically and engage in their workplaces faithfully.
