Our Women

Women’s Ecclesiology Reading Group (ERG)—

Our women’s ERG is for sisters who desire to grow in their understanding of the Bible, the church, Baptist theological distinctives, and the Christian life, including topics like complementarianism, church authority, and related topics.

These meetings are bi-monthly and includes a four-hour discussion, led by an elder on books and articles assigned prior to the meeting.

Charles Simeon Trust—

Charles Simeon Trust is an organization that helps increase confidence and ability in rightly handling God’s Word.

Each spring, some of our women take a CST online class together. They meet for 8-weeks to go through the course and discuss the material. This year, we revisited the First Principles online course, giving sisters a chance to lead and learn the basic principles of hermeneutics.

In addition, a number of our sisters attend annual workshops together around the country.

Through attending these courses, women at NCBC are not only trained to read and interpret their Bibles better, but they gain an increased love and reverence for the Word!
