We Grow

Our Life Together

“Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”

Ephesians 4:13

We believe the best way we can grow together is through deep, discipling relationships. Therefore, we regularly encourage our members to connect intentionally with one other by living out the relational model of the New Testament church. Grow with us in our life together!

01

Attend Sunday Gatherings

We gather as a local church weekly to sing the word, hear the word, pray the word, preach the Word, and see the Word (through the ordinances). In doing so, we encourage and stir one another up to grow in love for God and each other. Come ready to hear from God’s Word—and stay afterward to encourage one another!

Evangelize

We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ—the redemptive story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection—has the power to transform our lives, our city, and our world. Therefore, we desire to faithfully share Christ with our neighbors, coworkers, classmates, friends, and family.

Exercise Hospitality

Biblical hospitality is more than inviting others into your home—it’s intentionally enfolding others into your life and walking alongside each other. At NCBC, we seek to be deliberate in welcoming one another, building meaningful relationships, and bearing one another’s burdens—all with people from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and life stages.

04

Pray Regularly

Prayer is a vital part of our life together. We encourage one another to pray regularly for our members, missionaries, our city, and the advance of the gospel. Throughout the week, we gather for Early Morning Prayer on Wednesdays and Saturdays to pray through our church directory and for our church, and we gather on the second Sunday of each month for corporate prayer.

Make Disciples

Discipleship is a normal part of the Christian life. We desire to cultivate a culture where members intentionally encourage one another toward greater faithfulness through God’s Word, prayer, accountability, and everyday life together.

Volunteer / Serve

Every member has been given gifts to serve others. Whether welcoming visitors, caring for children, setting up on Sunday mornings, or serving behind the scenes, we joyfully use our time and abilities to strengthen Christ’s church.

If you’re new to NCBC, we encourage you to first get to know our church family and pursue membership before serving in an ongoing ministry.
