Join New Covenant Baptist Church for a Workshop with Dr. Phil Newton: Toward Spiritual Maturity. Dr. Newton was the founding pastor of South Woods Baptist Church in Memphis, TN, where he faithfully served for 35 years.

He currently serves as the Director of Pastoral Care and Mentoring at The Pillar Network. Dr. Newton is particularly gifted in mentoring pastors and church leaders and equipping them for long-term, faithful ministry. He's also the author of 40 Questions About Pastoral Ministry, The Mentoring Church, and Shepherding the Pastor: Help for the Early Years of Ministry, among other works.
